Monthly prints
This project is both a creative playground and a commitment to growth. I’ve always been fascinated by plants—their quiet resilience, unique forms, and rich histories. I decided to capture their essence through linocut, challenging myself to create one unique, seasonal print each month. It’s a personal exploration to sharpen my skills, build a sense of routine, and connect with others who share this love for handmade art and nature.
As a one-human business just starting out, this project feels like setting a marker in the doorway to track my growth. I’ll be testing out different linocut techniques, from four-piece stamps, like this month’s chrysanthemum, to reduction prints—a technique where I carve a little more of the stamp with each layer, building up the image step-by-step. No two prints will ever be exactly alike, and each piece is limited and unique, hand-signed and numbered.
Each month, I'll take you along for the journey—from choosing a plant and sketching designs, to carving and printing. I’ll share every stage on my blog and Instagram, inviting you to watch the process unfold. For those who connect with this project, you can support my work by following, engaging, or bringing one of these prints into your home. Each piece comes with a personal letter, something to bridge the distance between artist and collector, because in a world that can feel impersonal, I believe in the power of tangible, handcrafted art.
If you’d like to stay connected, you have two ways to join this journey! Follow along on Instagram for weekly snapshots of my process, live updates, and behind-the-scenes stories. Or…
