Creating Vibrant Community Engagement for Tankstation

For this project, I collaborated with Tankstation, a unique non-profit that celebrates diversity and fosters community connections. Tankstation brings together people from all walks of life, and I was tasked with creating posters, stickers, and promotional materials to reflect this vibrant spirit.

Sticker design featuring a funny character in an apple costume with 'Apple of My Eye' written on it. Made by Lina's Lines.

Blending hand-drawn illustrations with digital design, I focused on making the posters not only visually appealing but also accessible and tangible. Using paper textures and simple sketches, I aimed to give the designs a handmade, authentic feel that resonated with the community. The color schemes, customized for each month, added a layer of fun and energy.

I also designed stickers that could be distributed around the city, giving people a piece of Tankstation to carry with them. The combination of digital design and tangible elements, like the posters and stickers, captured Tankstation's welcoming and creative atmosphere.

Beyond Design: Workshops for the Community

I took this project a step further by hosting a workshop for volunteers. Together, we created flags and postcards in Tankstation’s colors, turning the café into a cozier space. This hands-on experience reflected my passion for bringing people together through art and creating something lasting for the community.
